Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in west Rajasthan, at a few places in east Rajasthan and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Chhachhrauli 1, Himachal Pradesh: Pandoh 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 1, East Rajasthan: Mount Abu 11, Reodar 8, Abu Road 4, Kotda 3 and Dungerpur, Gogunda, Nithuwa, Pindwara and Udaipur A.P. 1 each, West Rajasthan: Chotan 14, Dhorimanna and Raniwara 5 each, Bhinmal, Gadraroad, Gundamalani and Jaswantpura 4 each, Bagoda and Ramsar 3 each, Barmer, Sanchore and Sinderi 2 each and Luni and Saila 1 each and Uttaranchal: Dehradun 2 and Rishikesh 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 10: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
