Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh, at a few places in Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, west Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.
The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Kalka and Tajewala 4 each and Naraingarh 2, Himachal Pradesh: Nalagarh and Sujanpurtira 8 each, Berthin and Bharwain 5 each, Guler and Sundernagar 4 each, Bangana and Kahu 3 each, Paonta 2 and Kasol and Nagrotasurian 1 each, Punjab: Balachaur 2 and Uttaranchal: Dehradun 3, Rishikesh 2 and Hardwar and Haripur 1 each.
