Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Himachal Pradesh: Dharamsala 4 and Ghamroor 1, East Uttar Pradesh: Ballia 5, Chhatnag 4, Balmikinagar 2 and Allahabad and Phaphamau 1 each and Uttaranchal: Banbasa 3.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 20: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
