Khushi for Krishna

Life came full circle for Krishna Kohli who plays Khushi in Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki. About the role of Khushi in the serial, she says, "The Rajshri Productions were looking for someone with loads of attitude. I seemed to fit the bill."

According to Krishna, she is not very different from Khushi. "I am quite like her but not in the negative aspects. Ihope Khushi is someone identifiable even years later". ó DP

From playing lead roles in serials like Alpviram, Chahat Aur Nafrat and Justjoo, to co-anchoring Antakshri and then motherhood, Pallavi Joshi has had a packed personal and private life. Pallavi Joshi is back where she belongs ó right where the action is.

"Offers keep coming everyday," she says and adds, "But thereís a limit to what you can do. Acting is a mentally taxing job if you want to do it well. My aim is to pursue what I want most". In a career shift, she is lending her voice to a new FM radio station being launched in Mumbai. From being a co-host of Antakshri, she is now hosting a radio show.

However, her focus is not only being a radio jockey, she wants to do theatre too. "I am looking forward to working on stage," says the star who started her stage career with the all-time hit Aadhe Adhure in 1984.

Space odyssey

Cashing in on mankindís quest for the final frontier, Star Plus brings Indiaís own version of the space adventure. Antariksh Monday to Thursday at 8 p.m. has been inspired by The Ramayana. The story focuses on interactions among a host of imaginary characters in a futuristic realm.

The story revolves around Amar, the eldest son of King Shylan who is all set to be Planet Prithivís next king. But ambition and jealousy gets the other brothers to go against Amar and they all gang up and strip him of his crown and banish him from Prithiv. ó NF
