Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry in the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures changed little in the region. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh, above normal in, Haryana, Punjab, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 39°.5C recorded at Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little in the region. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Punjab, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 19.2°C recorded at Swaimadhopur (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 11: Weather will be mainly dry in the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood in valid until the morning of October 11: Mainly clear Sky. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 36°C and 24°C respectively.
