Rainfall: Isolated rain/thundershowers have occurred in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little.

Departure: This was appreciably above normal in Rajasthan and above normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 12.9C recorded at Ludhiana /Punjab.

Forecast valid until the morning of November 5: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Isolated rain/thundershowers is likely in Uttar Pradesh. Weather be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
