Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. Mukteshwar (Uttaranchal) has recorded 1 cm of rainfall.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 13.4C recorded in Chandigarh.

Forecast valid until the morning of December 10: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly in the rest of the region.
