New Delhi, January 7
Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in west Rajasthan, rose in east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. They were markedly below normal in Punjab, appreciably below normal in Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, below normal in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was -2.2 degree Celsius recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast (valid until the morning of January 9): Weather will be mainly dry over the region. Low temperature warning: Ground frost is likely at many places in Punjab and at a few places in Haryana, north Rajasthan and northwest Uttar Pradesh during the next two nights.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Isolated rain/snow is likely over Jammu and Kashmir.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood (valid until the morning of January 9): Mainly clear sky. Mist in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 4 degree Celsius.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi (valid until the morning of January 9): Sky will be mainly clear. Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
