Departure: They were appreciably below normal in Haryana, Punjab, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, below normal in east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was minus 2.2C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Low Temperature Warning: Ground frost is likely at a few places in Haryana besides Delhi, north Rajasthan and north-west Uttar Pradesh during the next one night and is likely to abate thereafter.
