Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell in Rajasthan, rose in east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were markedly below normal in Punjab, below normal in Haryana, Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 1.0°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of January 13: Weather will be mainly dry over the region.

Low temperature warning: Ground frost is likely at many parts of Punjab and at a few places in Haryana, including Chandigarh and Delhi, north Rajasthan and northwest Uttar Pradesh, during the next two nights.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Mainly dry weather.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood until the morning of January 13: Mainly clear sky. Mist/shallow fog in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 4°C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi: forecast valid until the morning of January 13: Sky will be mainly clear.

Low temperature warning: Ground frost is likely at a few places in Delhi during the next two nights.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Mainly dry weather likely to continue with possibility of ground frost at a few places over Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
