Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell in Rajasthan, rose in east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were markedly below normal in Punjab, below normal in Haryana, Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 1.0C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of January 13: Weather will be mainly dry over the region.

Low temperature warning: Ground frost is likely at many parts of Punjab and at a few places in Haryana, including Chandigarh and Delhi, north Rajasthan and northwest Uttar Pradesh, during the next two nights.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Mainly dry weather.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood until the morning of January 13: Mainly clear sky. Mist/shallow fog in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 4C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi: forecast valid until the morning of January 13: Sky will be mainly clear.

Low temperature warning: Ground frost is likely at a few places in Delhi during the next two nights.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Mainly dry weather likely to continue with possibility of ground frost at a few places over Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
