From D-5, another grisly tale
Parmindar Singh

Noida, January 12
There were two maids working in the Nithari's “khooni kothi”, D-5, in Sector 31 of Noida. When Nanda, the second maid, came to know about the beastly activities of Moninder Singh Pandher and his servant, Surinder Koli, she was sexually abused and then killed by the notorious duo.

Nanda was reportedly pregnant at the time of her murder. A case has been registered in this connection on the basis of recovery of some of her garments.

Maya, a native of Bengal who was employed for washing clothes, disclosed this to the police during interrogation. Nanda, Maya told the police, was employed for sweeping and dusting, etc.

At times, Maya said, she had to wash even blood-stained clothes at D-5. Maya was privy to many secrets of the going-ons in the house of Moninder, sources said. The information could prove helpful to the CBI in unfolding many secrets in the case, they added. After washing blood-stained clothes, a suspicion had crossed her mind but she kept quiet as she was paid extra money for the work. Moninder had raised her salary from Rs 900 to Rs 1,100 saying she was doing a good job.

Nanda was a native of Nepal and had become pregnant during those days. When Maya came back from Bengal after three months, Moninder told her that Nanda had disappeared suddenly. Maya was asked to take up the sweeping and dusting work also.

According to sources, Nanda had come to know about heinous activities of Moninder and Surinder. This led to her killing.
