Rainfall: Weather remained dry in the region.

Temperature (past 24 hours change): The minimum temperatures rose in Punjab and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were appreciably below normal in Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, East Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was -0.8°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast (valid until the morning of January 16): Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Low temperature warning: Ground frost is likely at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan and north-west Uttar Pradesh during the next two nights.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Mainly dry weather.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood (valid until the morning of January 16): Partly cloudy sky. Mist in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 5°C.
