Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in cm are: Jammu and Kashmir: Quazigund 3 and Pahalgam 1.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures rose in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh and change little elsewhere.

Departure: They were markedly above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan and Uttrakhand and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 6.9 degree Celsius recorded at Udaipur AP (Rajasthan).

Forecast (valid until the morning of January 30): Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood (valid until the morning of January 30): Mainly clear sky. Mist/shallow fog in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 11 degree Celsius.
