Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were markedly above normal in east Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, above normal in Haryana and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 5.1C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 5: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Isolated rain/thundershowers are likely in Chandigarh and Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood (valid until the morning of February 5): Partly cloudy sky. Mist/shallow fog in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 11C.
