Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at many places in Uttaranchal, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Haryana and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Punjab. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitations in cm are: Haryana: Karnal 2, Himachal Pradesh: Nahan 1, Mukteshwar 1.

Temperature: Past 24-hours change: The minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, fell in Punjab and east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 6.8°C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 10: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Isolated rain/thundershowers are likely in the rest of the region.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Decrease in precipitation.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 10: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain/Thundershowers in some areas. Mist/shallow fog in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 12°C.
