Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Punjab, at many places in Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in east Rajasthan and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 6.5C recorded at Narnaul (Haryana).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 16: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Punjab, at isolated places in Haryana and east Uttar Pradesh.
