Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures rose in Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were below normal in Uttarakhand, above normal in west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 6C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast (valid until the morning of February 18): Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarkhand. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change. Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood (valid until the morning of February 18): Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thunder/light rain in some areas. Mist/shallow fog is likely tomorrow morning. The minimum temperature will be around 12C.
