Temperature: Past 24 hours’ change: No change in the minimum temperatures. Departure: Above normal in Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.4C, recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of 22nd February 2007: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir during next 24 hours. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely in Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
