Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal.

Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Punjab and at isolated places in Haryana and west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amount of precipitation in cm. are Haryana: Karnal 1,Himachal Pradesh: Bhuntar 1, J&K: Bhaderwah 2 and Banihal 1.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures fell largely in Himachal Pradesh, fell appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir, fell in Punjab and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departure:

They were markedly below normal in Himachal Pradesh, below normal in Punjab and Uttranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 34 degree C recorded at Jhalawar (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperature fell in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 10.1degree C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of March 13: Rain/snow is likely at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at many places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in east Rajasthan and at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Rainfall activity over east Uttar Pradesh is likely to increase after 24 hours.

Hailstorm/thunder squalls are likely at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, west Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh, Uttranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain/snow is likely at one or two places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttranchal.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rainfall over Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan is likely to decrease. It may continue in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of March 13: Generally, cloudy sky with a few spells of rain/thundershowers. One or two spells may be accompanied with hail/squall. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 25C and 16C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of March 13: Light to moderate rain will occur at many places. Squall with wind speed exceeding 65 Kmph is likely at a few places.
