Appointed: PGI Campus Resident Welfare Society founder president R.K. Khanchi was unanimously elected vice-chairperson of the ward committee of ward No. 2 of the municipal corporation, Chandigarh, at a meeting of the committee held at community centre of Sector 15 here yesterday.

Elected: The Punjab and Chandigarh regional chapter of Institute of Town Planners has elected Dharam Singh Dhillon, Gurpreet Singh and Harinder Singh Bajwa as its chairman, secretary and treasurer, respectively. This was announced during the annual general meeting held at their Sector 35 office here.
