Temperatures: The maximum temperatures fell appreciably in east Uttar Pradesh. They were markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 43.6 °C recorded at Jhalawar.

Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region. Day temperatures are likely to increase over the region with possibility of heat wave over parts of Rajasthan.
