Penalising the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation for causing air pollution in the city, the Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) has ordered the closure of a premix unit of the civic body on the Humbran Road here.

City centre scam: 112 pen drive accounts decoded
Ludhiana, May 24
Vigilance Bureau today claimed to have successfully decoded 112 accounts, information about which was stored in the pen drive allegedly recovered from the Delhi-based businessman Chetan Gupta. The businessman was arrested in connection with the City Centre scam last week.
