New Delhi, May 25
Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: The maximum temperatures changed little. They were above normal in Himachal Pradesh and east Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 43.8C recorded at Sultanpur (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttaranchal. Dust storm/thunderstorm is likely at a few places in Haryana and north Rajasthan and at isolated places in south Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Isolated thunder-squalls are likely in the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood: Partly cloudy sky. Possibility of dust storm/thunderstorm accompanied with squall in some areas. The maximum temperature will be around 40C.
