Temperature: The maximum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere. They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 46.2 degree celsius recorded at Dholpur (Rajasthan).
