Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.
Temperature: The maximum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere. They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 46.2 degree celsius recorded at Dholpur (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of June 10: Isolated rain/thundershowers are likely in Jammu and Kashmir. Isolated dust storm/thunderstorm are likely in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Day temperatures likely to remain 2-4 degree celsius above normal over the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 10: Mainly clear sky. Strong surface winds during day time. The maximum temperature will be around 44 degree celsius.
