Chain snatchers at it

Two incidents of chain snatching rocked the city this evening. In the first incident, the chain of Vijay Anand, a resident of Sector 15-A, was snatched by unidentified persons when she was on her way to the Raghunath Temple in the sector.
Freak accident triggers traffic jam
Chandigarh, July 3
In a freak accident, two buses and a car were involved in a pileup on the road separating Sectors 35 and 36 this evening, leading to a traffic jam. However, no one was injured in the accident.

Licences for rehris sought

Chandigarh, July 3
The Chandigarh traffic police booked 305 motorists for violating rules. The police had set up seven nakas in various parts of the city.
