Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, at a few places in Haryana, west Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall are: Haryana: Ateli 5,Sonipat 3, Faridabad and Mahandergarh 2 each and Chandigarh, Dadari, Ballabhgarh,Hansi, Kanina, Khol and Kharkhoda 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Jaten Barrage 3 and Khairi and Una 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Patti 10, Basoli, Bhoond and Jammu 3 each and Bhaderwah and Srinagar 1 each, Punjab: Madhopur 2, East Rajasthan: Ramganjmandi 25, Rawatbhata 21, Bakani 15, Pachpahar and Bhainsroadgarh 14 each, Sangod 13 Dug and Khanpur12 each, Pirawa 9, Gangdhar and Aklera 8 each, Atru, West Rajasthan: Nokha, Ratangarh and Taranagar 3 each, Karanpur, Padampur and Suratgarh 2 each and Jodhpur, Luni, Rohat and Rajgarh 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh: Ghazipur and Neemsar 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Narora 5, Muradabad 4 Bareilly, Gomatia and Mathura 2 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 10: Rain/thundershowers are likely at most places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan, at many places in Haryana, Punjab, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and at a few places in Uttar Pradesh.

Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy to very heavy rain is likely at a few places over east and southwest Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh. Isolated heavy rain is also likely in sub-mountaneous Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand.

Isolated extremely heavy rain may also occur over southeast Rajasthan.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rainfall activity in the region is likely to decrease.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until morning of July 10: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain/thundershowers in some areas.
