Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places over east Rajasthan, at a few places in Punjab and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Kasol 7, Ghumarwin 4, Berthin, Baijnath and Mandi 3 each, Kahu, Barsar and Khairi 2 each and Dharamsala, Jhandutta, Sujanpuratira, Nurpur, Chauraha, Nalagarh, Sunibhaji, Shimla and Sundernagar 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Patti 4, Basholi 3 and Jammu 1, Punjab: Nangal 11, East Rajasthan: Bhinay 11, Sajangarh 9, Atru 7, Badesar, Bhopalsagar, Kushalgarh and Phuliakalan 6 each, Vijaynagar, Hurda, Mandal, Sallopat, Railmagra and Kapsan 5 each, Deoli, Nagarfort, Bagidora and Nimbahera 4 each, Phagi, Shambhugarh, Paroli and Todaraisingh 3 each, Uadipurwati, Beawar, Sawar, Kekri, Banera, Roopaheli, Ramganjmandi, Mangrol, Sapotra and Sirohi 2 each and Banswara and Udaipur 1 each, west Rajasthan: Gudamalani 8, Desuri 4, Beitu 3, Dorimanna, Pachpadra, Sanchore, Raniwara and Bagoda 2 each and Chotan, Balotra, Luni, Jalore and Ahore 1 each and Uttaranchal: Joshimath 3 and Uttarkashi 1.

Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely in southeast Rajasthan during the next 48 hours.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rainfall activity likely to decrease in Rajasthan and increase in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of July 13: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundry development in some areas.
