Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at many places in east Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, some places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. 

The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Faridabad-7, Ayanagar-6, New Delhi (SFD and Palam) and Chirag Delhi-3 each, Rohtak and Ballabhgarh-2 each and Nuh, Hatin and Jagadhari-1 each; Himachal Pradesh: Gohar-3, Shimla, Mandi, Sunnibhajji, Kandaghat and Bangana-1 each; Jammu and Kashmir: Banihal-2; Punjab: Amritsar-2, Zira, Batala, and Dasuya-1 each; east Rajasthan: Kaman-13, Deeg-8, Zahazpur-7, Degod and Anta-6 each, Kumir, Kota and Talera-5 each, Ramgarh, Alwar, Bharatpur, Atru, Kisangung and Hindoli-4 each, Rajgarh, Bansur, Laxamangarh, Govindgarh, Roopwas, Sakargarh, Develi and Swaimadhopur-3 each, Tizera, Paroli, Ladpura, Mangrol, Barwada, Kapatan and Chhattishgarh-2 each and Nagore, Vear, Banswa, Ajmer, Puskar Saver and Indergarh-1 each; west Rajasthan: Bheemal and Sumerpur-1 each, east UP: Ballia and Kakardharighat-5 each, Gorakhpur and Varanasi (AP)-3 each, Varanasi (city), Birdghat, Jaunpur and Mirzapur-2 each and Allahabad, Sultanpur, Turtipur, Ghazipur and Ayodhya-1 each; west UP: Agra (IAF) 7 and Bareilly-1; and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi, Haridwar and Banbasa-5 each, Kalagarh-4, Dehradun and Rishikesh-3 each and Joshimath 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 15: Rain/thundershowers are likely at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in east Rajasthan and at isolated places in west Rajasthan.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain likely over north-east Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, north-east Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttaranchal.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Scattered to fairly widespread rain likely to continue.
