Mass rape: Uneasy calm in UP dist

Shravasti, July 14
Even as an uneasy calm prevailed in Sirsia area here, persons, who had fled following violence after the alleged rape of minority women, started returning home.

On July 10, a group of men led by the brother of state minister Daddan Mishra allegedly molested four minority women at Dhannipurwa village. The incident was a fallout of the elopement of a girl Vandana with Salim.
