The State Information Commission, Punjab (SICP), has slapped a fine of Rs 5000 on the Ludhiana(Urban) police for taking a year to supply information sought by a local advocate.
Three gangs busted; two cars recovered

The police today claimed to have busted three gangs of local youths, who were involved in various cases of car stealing, purse and chain snatching, besides stealing electronic goods.

Rural poor demonstrate
