Monsoon has been vigorous in east Uttar Pradesh.

Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Baijnath 3; east Rajasthan: Kota 5, Kisangarh 4, Bhairsroodgarh, Paroli and Talera 3 each, Bhilwara, and Sarwar 2 each and Kotputli, Pushkar, Pirwa, Sawar and Sapotra 1 each.

Forecast valid until the July 20 morning: Rain/thundershowers are likely at many places in Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rainfall activity in Uttar Pradesh likely to decrease, not much change likely in the rest of the region.
