Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Dhansa and Kalka 2 each and New Delhi (Safdarjung) 1, Himachal Pradesh: Kahu 8, Kasol 6, Ghamroor, Pandoh and Sundernagar 4 each, Berthin, Khairi, Sunibhaji and Una 3 each, Nadaun and Sujanpurtira 2 each and Chamba, Nagrotasurian and shimla 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Bhoond 8, Basholi 3 and Bhaderwah, Kupwara, Katra and Patti 1 each, Punjab: Amritsar 1, east Rajasthan: Kelwara 4, Rajsamand 3 and Amet, Jhadol, Mount Abu and Pindwara 1 each, west Rajasthan: Desuri 2, east Uttar Pradesh: Shardanagar 5, Balmikinagar, Chandradeepghat and Rae Bareilly 2 and Ankinghat, Moradabad and Shahjina 1 each and UttaraKhand: Bausan 13, Haripur 12, Dehra Dun 11, Uttarkashi 6, Banbasa, Kalagarh and Rishikesh 4 each, Hardwar and Pantnagar 3 each, Joshimath 2 and Marora 1.
