Heavy rain likely in Himachal Pradesh

Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Uttarakhand, at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Masani Barrage 10, Bilaspur 7, Chhachhrauli 2 and Dadupur, Fatehabad, Kalayat and Pataudi 1 each; Himachal Pradesh: Jogindernagar 3, Rajgarh, Solangnala and Theog 2 each and Dhundhi, Kahu, Kasauli and Shimla 1 each; Punjab: Balachaur 2; east Rajasthan: Mandal, Mokhunda and Swai Madhopur 3 each, Atru, Kapsan and Viratnagar 2 each and Anta, Banera, Bagore, Bhopalgarh, Deeg, Maujmabad, Shahpura and Thangaji 1 each; east Uttar Pradesh: Uskabazar 8, Katerniaghat and Khadda 5 each, Pallikalan 4, Ballia and Regoli 3 each, Basti 2 and Gorakhpur, Kakrahi, Kakardharighat and Shardanagar 1 each; west Uttar Pradesh: Dabri 1 and Uttarakhand: Kalagarh 13, Banbasa 12, Marora 4, Joshimath and Pantnagar 3 each and Dehra Dun, Hardwar and Uttarkashi 1 each. Forecast valid until the morning of July 25: Rain/thundershowers are likely at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and at a few places in the rest of the region outside west Rajasthan where it may be isolated.
