Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Uttar Pradesh, at many places in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Bilaspur 7, Naraingarh and Sonepat 5 each, Tajewala 4, Jagadhari, New Delhi (Safdarjung) and Sadaura 3 each, Chhachhrauli, Chirag Delhi, Dadupur and Mustfabad 2 each and Delhi Ridge and Shahbad 1 each. Himachal Pradesh: Khairi 6, Baijnath 4, Dhundhi and Kasol 3 each, Jogindernagar and Surgani 2 each and Barsar, Chamba, Dhramsala, Kasauli, Kahu, Nalagarh, Mandi and Palampur 1 each.

Jammu and Kashmir: Patti 8, Bhoond 77, Katra 4 and Basoli 2. Punjab: Hoshiarpur, Ranjit Sagar Dam, Ropar and Samrala 2 each and Amritsar 1.East Rajasthan: Dug and Govindgarh 4 each, Ramganjmandi 3, Beir, Bhainsroadgarh, Dataramgarh, Kisanganj, Kushalgarh and Sagwara 2 each and Atru, Barisadri, Chittorgarh, Chhabra, Deeg, Jhalrapatan, Mandalgarh, Nagaur, Pirawa, Rajakhera, Sambher and Todabhim 1 each. West Rajastan: Bikaner, Nokha, Rawatsar and Vijaynagar 2 each and Dungargarh, Kolayat and Sadulsahar 1 each. East Uttar Pradesh: Birdghat, Jaunpur, Lucknow, Regoli and Rae Bareilly 3 each, Basti, Bahraich, Ballia, Hanumansetu and Shardanagar 2 each and Bani, Chhatnag, Dalmau, Ghazipur and Hamirpur 1 each. West Uttar Pradesh: Fatehgarh 9, Sarsawa 6, Bareilly and Narora 2 each and Shahjina 1. Uttaranchal: Kalagarh 5, Devprayag and Pantnagar 4 each and Haripur, Rishikesh and Uttarkashi 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 27: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region outside Rajasthan where it will be isolated.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal during the next 48 hours.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Scattered to fairly widespread rainfall may continue in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and isolated to scattered rainfall activity in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood: Generally cloudy sky with possibility of one or two spells of rain/thundershowers.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Isolated to scattered rainfall may continue.
