Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places in Haryana, west Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Uttaranchal, at many places in Himachal Pradesh (HP), Punjab, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and at a few places in the rest of the region.

The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Chhansa and Hasnpur: 11 each, Ferozepur: 8, Khol: 7, Hissar, Hodal and Guhla: 6 each, Ateli and Palwal: 5 each, Jhajjar, Pataudi and Jatusana: 4 each, Bhiwani, Bilaspur, Siwani, Safidon and Kaithal: 3 each, Narnaul, New Delhi (Safdarjung), Tazewala, Dadri, Faridabad, Pehwa, Mahindergarh, Kanina and Kalka: 2 each and Rohtak, Ayanagar, Narwana, Gohana, Dadupur, Chhachhrauli, Ballabhgarh, Sohna, Hansi, Jind, Julana, Sirsa, Uchana, Asend, and Pilukhara: 1 each. Himachal Pradesh: Haripur: 144, Poanta: 13, Renuka: 11, Pandoh and Rajgarh: 6 each, Karsog and Jubbal: 4 each, Rampur, Busar and Rohru: 3 each, Gohar, Kandaghat and Dharamsala: 2 each and Baijnath, Ghamroor, Palampur, Amb, Dharampur and Shimla: 1 each. Jammu and Kashmir: Katra: 7 and Bhoond: 1. Punjab: Faridkot: 7, Patiala and Moga: 3 each and Amritsar, Batala and Rajpura: 1 each.

Forecast until the morning August 5: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Haryana, HP, Punjab.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely in Haryana, including Chandigarh, Delhi, HP, Punjab, east UP and Uttaranchal during the next 24 hours.
