Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Nahan (3), Ghamroor and Una (2 each) and Guler and Nagrotasuriyan (1 each); Jammu and Kashmir: Udhampur (5) and Bhoond (2); east Rajasthan: Mount Abu (3), east UP: Hamirpur (3), west UP: Shanjina (3); and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi (14), Dehradun FM (5), Dehradun and Mukteshwar (4 each) and Rishikesh (1).
Forecast valid until the morning of August 13: Rain/thundershowers are likely to occur at a many places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal during next 48 hours.
Outlook for the subsequent two days: Scattered to fairly widespread rainfall activity likely over the region outside Rajasthan, where it may be isolated.
Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of August 13: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain/thundershowers in some areas.
