Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, at few places in Punjab, west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Chandigarh 7, Jagadhari and Mustfabad 5 each, Kalka 3, Barwala, Morni, Naraingarh, Panchkula, Raipur Rani 2 each and Sadaura 1, Himachal Pradesh: Nadaun 23, Guler 21, Sundernagar 19, Ghamroor, Sujanpurtira 13 each, Kasol 11, Jammu & Kashmir: Katra 17, Patti 5 and Basoli 1, Punjab: Shahpurkandi 17, Madhopur 14, Nangal 9, Pathankot 5 and Ranjitsagardam 4, East Rajasthan: Mount Abu 5, Kushalgarh, Sallopat 3 each and Arthuna, Bagidora, Banswara, Palliakalan, Shardanagar 2 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Moradabad 9, Sarsawa 5, Bareilly 2, Uttarakhand: Hardwar, Uttarkashi 9 each, Rishikesh 6, Kalagarh 3, Bausan, Dehradun, Haripur, Marora, Mukteshwar, Pantnagar, Rudraprayag and Srinagar 1 each.
