Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Uttarakhand and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

The chief amount of rainfall in cm is: Haryana: Samalkha 2; Himachal Pradesh: Dharamsala and Sujanpurtira 3 each, Baijnath 2 and Bhoranj 1; Jammu and Kashmir: Basholi 2 and Katra 1; Punjab: Ludhiana 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 19: Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
