Atta-dal bitter for many
Ludhiana, August 21
Women, waiting for blue cards for the atta-dal scheme, gather at the mini secretariat here on Tuesday. The atta-dal scheme, initiated by the Badal government seems to have left a bitter taste among the masses of the city. A number of well-connected and influential persons might have benefited from the scheme but the poor and deserving still have to make rounds of the government offices to get their blue cards made.
