Rain and thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Bahadurgarh, Kharkhauda, Mustabad and Narnaul 1, Himachal Pradesh: Berthin 3, Nadaun 2 and Ghamroor, Kahu, Khairi and Sujanpurtira 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 3, Punjab: Ranjitsagar Dam 5, Patiala 2 and Adampur, Nangal, Pathankot and Shahpurkandi 1, East Rajasthan: Chipabroad 5, Atru 4, Chhabra, Manoharthana and Sarmathura 3 each, Aklera, Bassi, Bari, Bonli, Beir, Khandar and Nadbai 2 each and Didwana, Jhalawar and Sangod 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Elginbridge 6, Bahraich 4, Palliakalan 3 and Birdghat and Chandradeepghat 2 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Agra 7 and Auraiya and Etawah 1 each and Uttaranchal: Kalagarh 7 and Dehradun and Rishikesh 2 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 28, 2007: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
