Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Uttarakhand, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and at isolated places in Haryana, west Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Safidon 3, Assand and Gharounda 2 each andPillukhera 1, Himachal Pradesh: Kahu 5, Kasol 2, and Jaten Barrage and Sundernagar 1 each, east Rajasthan: Todarisingh 10, Ladpura 8, Bari, Kisangarh and Nagarfort 6 each, Bhinay, Gyangarh, Jawaja, Kota, Ladnu, and Roopwas 5 each, Chipabroad, Karauli and Tonk 4 each, Buhana, Baseri, Hurda, Jahazpur, Kekri, Laxmangarh, Nadauti, Sanganer, Shahpura and Vijaynagar 3 each, Amer, Bhilwara, Badnore, Chomu Indergarh, Jaipur, Karera, Nawan and Pisagan 2 each and Gegal, Malpura, Mahuwa, Nasribad, Rajakhera, Swai Madhopur and Srinagar 1 each, west Rajasthan: Pokhran and Raipur 5 each, Nokh 4, Beitu, Shergarh and Sajangarh 3 each, Bhopalgarh and Phalodi 2 each and Barmer, Desuri, Dorimanna and Jaitaran 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Banda 3 and Ballia 1, west Uttar Pradesh: Agra 3 and Chillaghat and Etawah 1 each and Uttarakhand: Kalagarh 6, Haripur 5, Dehradun 4 and Bausan 2.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 4: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rainfall activity likely to increase in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. No large change in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning September 4: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain/thundershowers in some areas.
