Kuldip Singh’s murder could have been avoided had the police heeded to the innumerable complaints lodged by Pritam Kaur with the DGP. She seemed distressed and was not able to properly talk. After regaining some strength she said, “My brother was suffering from a few ailments, including diabetes. He would not have lived long. Yet, he was not spared.”

About one thousand youth are being provided financial assistance for setting up their small industrial units and business ventures by the government, under the Prime Minister’s Rozgar Yojna, during the current financial year.
