An FIR has been registered by the local police. Besides, the Army has instituted a court of inquiry, Colonel Goswami said.

Balprasad was reported to be under treatment of central nervous system for some time. He was discharged from the local military hospital after two months on September 26. He was supposed to visit his home on Diwali and scheduled to proceed on leave from November 8.
