Wholesale price of broiler declines

Despite excessive supply, chicken lovers continue to pay high prices for the broiler and eggs. While the retail market has recorded an increase in broiler rates between Rs 110 and Rs 112 from Rs 100 to 105 that prevailed till Dussehra, in the wholesale market, prices have reduced from Rs 48 to Rs 35 now.

Women killed in road accident
Jagraon, October 27
Shinder Kaur of Jalaldiwal was killed in truck-tempo collision. She was going in a tempo (PCL-2910) in the area of Raikot when a fast moving truck (PB-29-9977) driven by Surinderpal Singh collided with the tempo. The Raikot police has registered a case under Section 279, 304-A, 337 of the IPC. No arrest has been made so far.
