Bidi makers ‘scuttle’ awareness move

The government of India recently notified an amendment to the Cigarettes and other Tobacco Products (Packaging and Labelling) Rules 2006, making it mandatory for cigarette and bidi manufacturers to display prominent pictorial warnings on all tobacco products. The amended rules are to take effect from December 1.
Trust initiative to revive green revolution

Traffic goes haywire

It was a day of chaos as traffic was disrupted due to a nagar kirtan procession that was taken out in the city today.
Almost all major roads were chock-a-block with vehicles as the procession was taken out from the Field Ganj area.
