Four persons, including a woman, who sustained injuries in the train-mini bus accident that took place near Chuhar Chak village in Moga district today morning, were brought to the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital here. Two of the victims were stated to be in a critical condition. They would be operated upon due to serious head injuries.

Bank employees donate 50 units of blood

A voluntary blood donation camp was organised at HDFC Bank at the Mall Road here today in collaboration with Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH). A team of doctors from the department of transfusion medicine of the hospital, under the leadership of Dr Amarjit Kaur, head, department of transfusion medicine at DMCH, conducted the camp where 50 units of blood were collected.

Three killed,2 hurt in mishap
Mandi Ahmedgarh, December 14
Three persons were killed and two injured in two road accidents that took place in this area today. Manga and Batara, both residents of Jandali Kalan village in Sangrur district, were killed when the motorcycle they, along with their friend, were riding collided with a scooter near Khatra village today.
