Arshdeep (9), son of Jagtar Singh is suffering from a kidney failure. He is the only brother of four sisters.
Resident of Bhammi Pura Kalan, in Jagraon subdivision, this child is presently
being admitted to the PGI, Chandigarh, for kidney transplant. But for, Jagtar
Singh, a farm worker, and his family, it is difficult to meet the huge expenses
required for undergoing transplant.

Ahmedgarh municipal councillor, Chitrlekha (50), wife of
The Tribune correspondent Mahesh Sharma, died here yesterday evening. She was suffering from cancer for the past few months.
She was also the director of the Janta College for Women. She is survived by her son and daughter.
She was cremated at the Ram Bagh cremation ground today.
