Jubilant over the party's victory in Gujarat Assembly elections, activists and leaders of the party today flout the law of the land and fired shots at different places in the city even as the residents resented the ruckus stating that the ruling coalition partner was resorting to such practices.

Officials of the health department and the police conducted a joint raid at a dairy unit in Jawaddi village late last evening and busted a racket of manufacture and sale of fake "desi ghee" under the brand name of "Shruti".

Rice worth Rs 6.25 lakh recovered
Ludhiana, December 23
The Haibowal Police today claimed to have recovered 280 quintals of rice worth Rs 6.25 lakh stolen from Khanna. The police has arrested the truck driver Ajaib Singh while the main accused trader Jagtar Singh was absconding.
