Fake desi ghee factory sealed; owner on the run

Officials of the health department and the police conducted a joint raid at a dairy unit in Jawaddi village late last evening and busted a racket of manufacture and sale of fake "desi ghee" under the brand name of "Shruti".

Rice worth Rs 6.25 lakh recovered

The Haibowal Police today claimed to have recovered 280 quintals of rice worth Rs 6.25 lakh stolen from
Khanna. The police has arrested the truck driver Ajaib Singh while the main
accused trader Jagtar Singh was absconding.
