Harassment Case Dr Brar reinstated

Putting an end to the uncertainty prevailing over the office of Director Students' Welfare, Punjab Agricultural University here, the vice-chancellor Dr MS Kang, today allowed Dr Dulcha Singh Brar, who was suspended following a complaint of sexual harassment by a female employee, to join back on the post (DSW).

The ongoing struggle of rural doctor intensified today as they gave up their chairs and squatted on the floor at their respective dispensaries across the state.
A majority of doctors working in 102 dispensaries in Ludhiana district sat on the mats outside their dispensaries to carry out their routine work, including examination of patients.
