Insurance co told to pay Rs 5 lakh
Ludhiana, February 14
The permanent lok adalat has ordered the SBI Life Insurance Company to make a payment of Rs 5 lakh, along with 9 per cent per annum interest to Gurjeet Kaur of Shimlapuri, whose husband Baljeet Singh had died in an accident. Denial of claim to the widow was held to be a wrong decision of the company.
